For families

Everything you need to know before your first visit

We want you to feel informed, comfortable, and confident from the very first contact. Here is what to expect when you come to Prince Lane Allied Health.

Getting started

How it works

From your first call to your ongoing care plan — here is what the journey looks like.

Step 1

Get in touch

Call or email us to have a chat about your child or family member. We will ask a few questions to understand your situation and match you with the right physiotherapist.

Step 2

Book your first appointment

We will find a time that works for your family — at our Murwillumbah or Ballina clinic, or at a location in the Northern Rivers that suits you.

Step 3

Initial assessment

Your first session is an assessment. Your physiotherapist will take a detailed history, observe movement and function, and talk with you about your goals. There is no pressure — it is a conversation.

Step 4

Your personalised plan

After the assessment, your physiotherapist will explain what they found and work with you to develop a plan that fits your family's life, goals, and schedule.

Prince Lane Allied Health team

Our approach

Care that puts your family first

Family-centred care

You know your child best. We work alongside you — not around you — and make sure you understand and feel confident in every step of the plan.

Honest communication

We will always be straightforward about what we observe, what we recommend, and what is realistic. No jargon, no pressure.

Evidence-based practice

Our approach is grounded in current research and clinical experience. We continually update our knowledge to provide the best possible care.

Reducing barriers to access

We understand the challenges of accessing allied health in a regional area. We do what we can to make it easier — including travelling to you.
